In the wake of the mass shooting in Las Vegas on Oct. 1, Dierks Bentley flew to Las Vegas on Oct. 9 to visit first responders and hospital staff at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada.
Dierks posted a video and a handful of photos on Instagram to document his experience.
The initial Instagram post features a time-lapse video of Dierks flying to Las Vegas, with the caption: “stopping by #vegas to say hi to some folks.” Dierks is a licensed pilot, so we’re assuming he was flying the plane.
Dierks’ second Instagram post features eight photos—including one of him performing for hospital staff—with the caption: “thank you @umcsn for letting me stop by and hang with y’all for a little bit. thank you for sharing your stories and your time. i needed that. #vegas #vegasstrong #firstresponders.”
Dierks’ third Instagram post features three photos—including a pic with first responders—with the caption: “few more from #Vegas tonight. everyday heroes among us.”
